March 14, 200917 yr He is talking about the well, and no that won't work, you need the slayer helm as it still smokey down there and they use their abilities to lower your stats. March 14, 200917 yr Im really not sure about the helm but abbarant spectres arent really good to cannon. You lose money, you make a little back from the drops tho.
March 14, 200917 yr You can keep mage prayer on and switch to nosepeg right before going upstairs. You'll drop to 1hp though, not that i ever tried this method.
March 15, 200917 yr You'll be fine; smoke cannot kill you. It only brings you down to 1hp. I wouldn't consider it to be any more dangerous than cannoning with a slayer helm; since the only way you're going to run out of prayer is if you lag badly or if you aren't paying any attention; and in either case you're screwed even at full health. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

March 15, 200917 yr Pollivneach Slayer Dungeon, only need a nose peg and you can make a modest profit on cannoning (I make a profit everytime I cannon a Spectres task). Make sure to wield a Ring of Wealth.
