With 99 Range is it worth using ruby (e) on gwd boss or not?

Featured Replies

So yeah, the question is in the title ^^^

Is it worth using ruby (e) bolts for the 1st half of the hp still or shall I just stick with diamond (e) for the whole fight? Only asking as I was told to not use ruby, not someone has just said that it'd be better too?

Opinions appreciated :)

Thanks x

Yes. It can hit +50 and is not influenced by the monster's defence, or your accuracy. Switch to diamond(e) when it is at 1/2 health.

When you go feather dragon god, you never go back.

Hmm, but his accuracy is extremely high because of the 99 range. I'd like to know this myself too.

Range level only affects ruby bolts on the non-specials, in which they're addy bolts anyways and hit pretty hard, especially with 99 ramge. I say stick with ruby until half, then diamonds.

normally i would say use rubys, but your summoning does not have chance for a healing familiar, and if no healing fami's, its pretty important to savour your hp. if you think that the extra damage done to the boss will cut enough time from the kill to save yourself ~8 damage from minions and boss, then use ruby. otherwise its a waste of hp.

I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"

walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come
