Laieta Posted March 18, 2009 Share Posted March 18, 2009 I needed some practise with Ilustrator so i decided to make a runescape drawing to check some tools there. First i wanted a funny image, I don't care about the bests outfits in the world, i wanted it funny. Also i don't like that drawings where there are just someone standing there, i like to draw actions, like the image have something to explain. So i decided to make this "girls power" image ^^ The man on it is Maxboison, he is a video maker who have great Runescape videos and he is also the admin on a video makers site. As a suggestion, I would include a picture of the completed work on the front page, just for people who can't view the video. It has a very whimsical feel, and is quite amusing to view. There is little feedback that I could give on what to improve on. Just a curiosity, do you have a tablet? Or is all the shading and filling in stuff by mouse? Post the end result, I can't be bothered to watch a low quality youtube video. That was a bit rude. Onto the image itself, now. It's funny, but I think a bit more contrast would do it well, especially on the horse/slave/guy/whatever(lol) to give the image a bit more depth. Otherwise, it was nice to see a step-by-step on a full video. Im 100% agree, you are the only one who noticed it. The linework looks pretty solid and I can't really see any major anatomy problems either (keeping in mind that it is meant to be cartoon-ish obviously). Nadril Posted March 22, 2009 Share Posted March 22, 2009 I'm not a fan of the style, the brushed look with hard black outlines is odd because I don't like the clash of styles (If you're going for a clean, anime look do that.
