pinguimmaiden
F2P ~> Mining. Very challenger to get 99 and its a damn good achieve when you get : P2P ~> Thieving. Its a great 99 to have on P2P, its rare to see someone with thiev cape, its fast and easy, but repetitive :)
Surfa7
F2p = Runecrafting P2p = Construction This is totally my opinion and doesn't reflect the view of most runescape players. Click for blog

Surfa7
Sure F2p runecrafting is ridiculously difficult and therefore anyone who has 99 in runecrafting f2p gets my up most respect. Mainly due to the fact that I can't be arsed to do it on p2p. Construction is my favourite skill due to the fact that my house is my favourite place on runescape and the fact that to me it is always interesting to see peoples layouts and decorations. Also house parties are one of my favourite thing to do on runescape. Click for blog

Arawina
F2P: Mining, everything else would just be a waste. P2P: Runecrafting. Sweet cash and beautiful cape.
Vulxai
I'd really love mining, as that's my favorite cape and emote. It'd be a lot tougher to do on f2p (Lady Shahdie). Runecrafting would also be a huge pain on f2p. Construction and Prayer are big money drainers on p2p. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
Hoopster211
F2P: Runecrafting P2P: Runecrafting Construction can be easily bought. Mining comes in a close second. [/bads]
tripsis
Construction can be easily bought. With all the tens of millions of GP that you and everyone else has laying around? :P The difficulty in skills like construction, prayer, herblore, etc., isn't in the leveling process but in making the money, which is no easy feat for the average player. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog

Once you have a lot of money, it's easier to make more, like merchanting on the GE. But yes that's also true. I just feel sympathy for the boringness of Runecrafting :/ [/bads]

I just feel sympathy for the boringness of Runecrafting :/ Why do people always make assumptions such as this? If 99 Construction is so easy to buy, then why do you not have it? I never quite understand that. It is EXTREMELY tough to make the money for those skills. I do not know if it has become easier, but I know when Tripsis went for the expensive skills, it cost her millions upon millions. She had to Runecraft for numerous hours in order to make that money. Maybe the skill itself is easy, but it's not like some players are just blessed and out of tutorial island they just receive 500M on the ground to pay for the buyables, they ALL have to work hard for their money, and for that, they should be commended. Once again, I challenge you, if it is SO easy, then you should go ahead and get it. It can't be that hard according to your logic!
Hoopster211
I'm not saying it's easier. Just for some people. If you can buyout like 10,000 of the same item and sell it at a higher price in a few days, you can make loads of GP with not much effort. The fact that the skill CAN be buy-able takes away some of it's credit from me. Some people have crazy ways of making loads of money, and can blow it all on expensive furniture over and over. You can't do anything like that with Runecrafting. [/bads]

You can't do anything like that with Runecrafting. To each their own, I guess. I am not arguing that it may be possible to merchant. I used to be fairly good at merchanting and could make good money with the early GE. I am not sure if this is still possible, but you must remember there is risk in that as well. As quickly as you can make it, you can lose it, and it has happened a fair amount of times to a lot of people I know. I have respect for anyone with a buyable skill because I know you had to work hard OR take a lot of risks to get where you are. Usually, you have to be smart and good at what you do to get money in this game, and for that, I think the player should be commended. BUT, we all have our own opinions and our own definitions of a commendable skill.
GODofbaseball
f2p:runecrafting p2p:construction runecrafting like one of my fav skills and emote and would be sooooooooooooo hard and long on f2p, but construction rules all becuase you really have to have the skill to get the money, and i am completely agreeing with devoted where it is really hard 2 get a buyable skill because it takes a lot of skill and dedication to make enough money to get that so in my mind construction is top, plus houses are awesome and parties are really fun, and higher construction just makes easier prayer Drops:2x Dragon Chain, 8x Dragon Platelegs, 3x Dragon PlateskirtsRecently Demoted to F2P, now getting 99 attack via giant spiders
