Ouchy
I'm finding random files everywhere on my computer that I have not had before. They come in everywhere, which includes downloads, etc. Could they be from a virus? Here is what I mean: My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

JoeDaStudd
There simply files which windows creates to remember stuff, there normally hidden (Tools, Folder Options, show hidden files). The thumbs.db is all the thumbnail images, Desktop.ini tells windows what to call My documents and if its personalised. To be honest I have know idea on the other one, but I'm sure google will help. Laura
Any folder-tools(should be near the top)-folder options-view tab-show hidden folders-apply. OR Right click any item-properties-hide-apply.
Dracion1
Nothing to worry about. In simplistic terms, they're just harmless files windows creates to do it's stuff. Chaise
I have random files, too. I recently deleted some that contained pictures of adverts I have seen (but never clicked on) and other random stuff. ~~Chaise91~~
