March 30, 200917 yr Looking through the Music section, I was kind of dismayed to not have one thread about one of the greatest, if not the greatest, Horror-Punk Bands of all time. The Misfits are famous for their catchy tunes, morbid lyrics and being one of the pioneers of the Punk-Rock/ Horror-Punk Genres. They're also one of the first Punk Rock bands to almost entirely steer clear of political messages in their songs and instead focusing on Horror movies and Science Fiction to inspire their songwriting. As the Misfits are one of my favorite bands, I was wondering what everyone else thought of them. I mean I have a Misfits shirt but I actually love them. This one kid who had the same shirt as me said that the old Misfits sucked... Ha. My favorite song is probably Bloodfeast. I also like She.
March 31, 200917 yr I've only listened to a dozen or so songs by them, but I do think they're quite good. I've never had much interest in them, but now that you've mentioned it, the fact that they remain politically neutral is quite respectable. Also, I hate it when people wear a shirt for a band they've never heard of or don't like. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience.

Love Equals Death springs to mind. : But yes, I do like the old Misfits too.(Danzig era) Although I probably love the Graves era just as much. His vocals rock.
