Your going there anyway so whats the point in asking if there any good? As far as I know they're mediocre.

What can I say? I'm a rebel, like Ché Guevara.

What the hell is Ash doing while Team Rocket says their rhyme?

The combination of low level, low hp and the need to have tokens to fight them makes the mediocre at best.

I agree with the above. They're bad for exp to be honest, and by the time you get a defender you'll have not got much exp out of them. It took me 2 days to get a rune one (i have horrendous luck - but when i got my defender i killed another right after and got another rune one withing one kill  but still....) the only level i got was a strength one and that had 1K to get to 70. So yeah, don't worry about the exp, just get a good 2K tokens and then kill cyclopses until you get a defender, then kill things in slayer or something to get the good exp

Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.

Thanks to Wicked for the awesome siggy :D

Not good for exp, get multiple rune defenders while you're there, you won't want to go back :P

Worth training on until you get multiple rune defenders. After that, move along.

The other upside is black knives. As you know, the tormented wraith in Black knight castle in the spirit realm of wildy can only be harmed with black weapons wearing black armor.

Take all the black knives those guys drop and use them at tormented wraith. There is a perfect safespot west of his spawn. He drops quite a bit, including noted oak planks (great for cons), noted potions, and the terrific holy elixir (still worth several million coins!).

Even with that, don't stay at cyclops too long. Overall they're still pretty lousy.

I picked up all the big bones that nobody was picking up while I was fighting because I had so many tokens. Made it slightly profitable.
