I know this isn't the right place to put this guide since it's no change to an existing guide but I don't really know where i can submit it. I would very much like it if Tip.It would add it to the quest guides. can anyone tell me where to put it to get it checked for putting on the quest guide page?

1. Start.

Items needed: none.

Items suggested: none.

Talk with Manni the Reveller, who is near Chieftain Brundt in the longhall. He will tell you he is organizing a surprise party for Chieftain Brundt's birthday. He needs you to invite some guests: King Vargas, the king of Miscellania, and Marnis Burowgar, the king of Neitiznot.

2. The guests.

Items needed: none.

Items suggested: none.

Take the boat on the one-after most western dock, and go to king Vargas, who is in his chamber in the castle on the west side of the island. Talk to him and invite him to the chieftains birthday party. He will make quite clear he wont come cause of some kind of event that had happened in the past. After this return to Manni the Reveller to tell him that Vargas and Mawnis won't come to the party. He will tell you to talk to Brundt about what kind of strange event had happened in the past.

3. Brundts version.

Items needed: none.

Items suggested: none.

Talk to Brundt the Chieftain, and tell him about the party Manni is organizing. Brundt will say he doesn't want them to be at the party, again because of this event that had happened. Ask him what happened and a cutscene will play. He will tell you that he doesn't want Vargas and Mawnis at his party, until he knows who stole the prophecy tablet. He will give you some cave directions, so you can find the cave and explore. He will only have written one of the three lines needed to find the cave.

4. Vargass version.

Items needed: none.

Items suggested: none.

After this go back to Vargas to find out about his version of the story, again a cutscene will play, and Vargas will tell you he will only come if you can turn him back into a human. Then he will write another line on the cave directions.

5. Mawniss version.

Items needed: none.

Items suggested: none.

Lastly go to Mawnis for his version of the event, again a cutscene will accure. Mawnis will tell you he will only come to the party if you investigate in the place where his brother in law, Nial Swiftfling, changed into a yeti, and bring a memorial from him for his sister, Freygerd, who is in Jatizso. He will also write one line on the cave directions, which are now complete. It will say: To reach the creatures cave: From Rellekka, head east. At the foot of the mountain, turn north across the ice. Search the coast for unusual signs.

6. Finding the cave.

Items needed: Pickaxe

Items suggested: food, potions, armour and weapons to kill a level 156 creature.

After you have completed the cave directions you must now find the cave. Head to the snowy hunter area, up the stairs and to the hunting expert. Just east of him there is an ice mound, with tracks nearby it. Inspect these tracks, and they will now lead to the ice mound, which you can now dig. Use your pickaxe with the mound, and an opening will appear. Enter this opening; ignore the hunting experts warning. Kill a yeti for its hair, which you will need later on, and then head southwest. Go through the crack in the wall. You will now be in a rather large room with Nial, in the form of a big yeti. You will need to slay him. He is level 156, will use range, melee and some kind of stunning attack; he will throw you away, roar and then attack again. It is advised to use protect from range, cause he will hit the most with that, and then just keep clicking on him every time he stuns you. After you kill him he will drop a few items: an unfinished astral rune, Nials thrown axe and a herb pouch, which belonged to Asleif.

7. The potion.

Items needed: plank, yeti hair, vial, clean irit, cosmic rune, 10 earth runes, pestle and mortal, herb pouch.

Items suggested: none

Go to the mountain camp. Take the pole lying in the Yokuls garden (the house with the mountain goats), and go to the lake. Climb the tall tree, bringing you to the first small island. Use the pole on the clump of rocks to get to the second island and use the plank on the flat stone to get to the third. Talk to the shining pool. Asleif will talk back and explain you how to make the potion to turn King Vargas back into a human. You will have to do the following: Fill a vial with the water coming out of the rocks on the small island youre standing on, then use the clean irit on the vial filled with mountain lake water. Use a pestle and mortal on the diamond root you took out the herb pouch while talking to Asleif. After this, enchant the root with the level 4 enchant. After this put the enchanted diamond root into the vial, and then put in the yeti hair. This will complete the potion.

8. Freygerd.

Items needed: Nails thrown axe.

Items suggested: none

Go to Yatizso, by taking the boat on the north most dock. Find Freygerd, who is on the south side of the island, just inside the walls. Talk with her. She is having a problem with the taxes, so go to king Gjuki Sorvott. He will make an exception for her concerning the taxes. Go back to her and hand her Nails thrown axe.

9. Making everybody happy.

Items needed: unfinished astral rune, potion for Vargas.

Items suggested:

Go to Marnis Burowgar, in Neitiznot. After you talk to him for a bit, he will tell you he is more than happy to go to the party. Then go to King Vargas. Hand him to potion, and he will change back into a human. He will be attending the party as well. Finally go to Brundt and talk to him about the astral rune. He suddenly remembers there was another adventurer, who will probably have taking the tablet. After everyone is happy talk to Manni the Reveller, and let the party get going!

End

Rewards:

10.000 magic XP, 5.000 herblore XP, a Tome of Glorious deeds (which gives you 3 times 5.000 XP in any of the skills: Hitpoints, Attack, Strength, Defence and Range) and an unfinished astral rune.

Quest points gained on completion: 1

Tips and tricks:

When you have completed the quest you can go to Baba Jaga on lunar island to talk to her about the astral rune. She will then tell you another part of the story and reward you with one of the five prophecy tablets and an antique lamp which grants you with 2.500 XP in any skill of choise. the prophecy tablet can be brought to the Varrock museum

You're accusing me of bigotry, how ironic. It's a nice attempt at argument, but your responses are facile and asinine, if not diatribe. Who's arrogant now?

Hi, first off, I'm horrible sorry if I'm submitting this wrong.

This is just some random data\pics I'm not sure if you guys will need or not.

First off, when you beat the quest, you are given a Tome of Glorious Deeds. Each time you click on it, you can gain 5,000 exp. in: Attack, Strength, Hitpoints, Defence, and Ranged. You can choose up to three skills, or 15,000 exp. max in any of the ones listed.

Shown Here:

2vdm98j.jpg

16h1dw5.png

Then, if you take the Astral Rune (Unfinished) that you obtained from killing Nial; to Baba Yaga in Lunar Isle, she will give you this:

n21lk4.jpg

The Prophecy Tablet simply says "The tablet is the last of its series, and has only one sentence engraved into it: 'And his name will be ____ (it's your fremmy name.)

The red lamp gives 2,500 exp. in any skill of choice.

255nryx.jpg (Of both together)

Misc.

Required Items are:

One clean irit; empty vial; plank (used to reach Aslief) one diamond enchant (1 cosmic, 10 earths); Pestle and Mortar (to grind the diamond root, you enchant after ground) Pickaxe (any kind, thought Adze may not work. it's used to pick at the ice mound to find the Yeti Cave) Pole (used to also reach Aslief) which can be found the animal pen in the Mountain Camp east of Rekella. Seal of Passage (for the additional part)

Suggested: A couple food, dds\rune is perfectly fine to kill the Yeti. He's very very easy to kill. Setting your home to Rekella, and using House Tabs saves a lot of time; also a Spirit Terrorbird is very helpful.

I hope this helps, and once again, I'm sorry if it's in the wrong place, or not needed.

Saruman44, we appreciate contributions from users!

Most of this info looks like it will be helpful to a guide. I will request that this topic be merged into the Player Made Guides forum where I know there is at least one guide in the works. We always look at forum guides posted the first day, and credit the helpful posts.

The Tome of Glorious Deeds pic is good - png format pictures are good for us to work with. JPGs are excellent for showing information or text or what happens, but can't be edited to use for display on the website or in the items database.

Monster pictures, levels, examines and drops are also GREATLY appreciated, and can always be posted in the Bestiary subforum.

pooponu1989 thanks for wanting to help. I am requesting that your post with video be moved to the Player Made Guide forum and merged with a topic and guide already there. Hopefully it might help some people.

For new quests, that's where we look for information. When a guide has been released to our website, then Website Updates forum is the place to post any corrections you might find.

Thanks for sharing your video.

Upon beginning the quest Manni will ask of you to ask Mawnis Burowgar and King Vargas to Brundt's Birthday, so hop on the boat to Neitznot. Items Suggested: None

Hop on the small ship to Neitznot and talk to Mawnis and ask about his side of the story. Another cut scene will appear telling his side of the story of the incident, After which he will give you his details on the Cave's location. That's 2/3 of the Instructions collected.

Inside you'll see Nial Swiftfling and what he's turned into. A Yeti. Re-Equip Melee Armor (If you haven't done so already) and prepare to fight. He uses both Melee and Ranged but its more advised to use protect from Melee as the range attack isn't as strong, He will use a Roar attack which will send you flying back about 3-4 squares but deals no damage. The NPC to talk to get the extra 10 Kudos in Varrock Museum is the Historian Minas (at least I spoke to him and as far as I know there is no archaeologist upstairs, only a historian namned Minas).

Just a couple of Spelling changes for the first guide of the thread (the 1 I used...Thank You for making it!):

Step 7: Change the name "Yokul" to "Jokul". You could also add that the path to the Mountain Camp is directly East out the gate of Relleka.

Step 8: Change the city name of "Yatizso" to "Jatizso" To find Freygard, she is located at the "West" end gate of the city...guide says South.

The guide was great...made it easy to complete the Quest! Great write-up!!!

Just to piont out my own flaws here:

Step 7, accidently called it Pestle and Mortal.

Step 5, bottom, i called it Nail and not Nial. :wall:

Step 2, Ment to be through, not thru

Step 1, sam was ment to be same.

(Methinks I need to use Mcrosoft Word next time)
