Whip+DFS or Godsword, which is better?

 

 

 

Also for equipment, which of this is better, or is there any better.

 

Zammy D'hide Body + Bandos Tasset (314 range def 88 magic def with DFS)(242,78w/o)

 

Barrows Body + Barrows Legs (392 range def 36 magic def with DFS)(320,36w/o)

Whip + Defender. Ask sirhemen for further proof. I can get 4 kills per trip with a tortise (sometimes 5) with whip + defender, and my average is considerably higher then with GS. Karils top + Bandos tassets, swap it out for a zammy robe top while getting KC.

 

 

 

Oh, and DFS stinks horribly. That's where most people get the 'teh whipz suckzorz!' arguments from.

You should try it 10 times before you decide for Godsword or Abyssal whip.

 

 

 

The reason why most players find Abyssal whip bad is because they either don't have to good levels or they are not using Rune defender.

Ten trips, maybe. I'd recommend 50 kills with each before decisively deciding. It's pretty obvious which wins, just log the number kills per trip. Not only does the whip deal more damage per minute, it has much less of a delay when eating.

 

 

 

Then again, I've gotten kills without even eating with a whip. It's awesomely accurate.

That i do not know, but i would assume it is. I have never done tests with whip and rune defender at lower levels.

 

 

 

But i think it is because of this (I may be wrong though):

 

 

 

A friend of mine with low defense had same gear as me at Dagannoth rex, and he got hit very little. I though that i didn't get hit much mostly because of my defence level, but it turned out that it was mostly because of the defensive armor.

 

 

 

He was around 80is in defense where i was 99, and he did well defensewise. So i would say that Defense skill did not have a big impact there but the armor did.

 

 

 

So same thing goes for Whip+Rune defender perhaps?

 

Rune defender: Very great attack bonus which is what makes you hit through

Torag's legs as legs/or verac if you want.

 

 

 

Granite mace(G.E)/Ancient mace (Another slice of H.A.M) = BOTH ARE BANDOS ITEMS.

Since you don't 1 hit the monsters 100% of the time, your taking a big (20-30% with a GS) hit to your KC time - by far the longest part of the trip, knocking down your profits and slowing kills.

The problem isn't that you get hit, the problem is that your KC is slower :

Just take an extra shark instead of the mace; you rarely take 20 damage running to boss room door.

Or you could dip into the bandos pool before the trip and not have to worry about any of that mess...The prayer boost is nice as well, and the hp boost would pobably absorb any thing that the saradomin monsters try to throw at you when you drop in.

2) Hobgoblins near Goblins (The ones where werewolfs is killing them). These ones are weak too, and i usually bring Enchanced Excalibur (14 def boost and 20 hp heal). Problem: None.

 

 

 

3) Hobgoblins near boss room. This is the slowest of them all. Don't need Bandos nor Zamorak item.

All of those KC areas are slowed down without a bandos item. You will be getting hit by the monsters instead of them fighting the zammy monsters, and the zammy monsters will not be damaging them nearly as often. If your wondering why I always beat you in KC, this is probably it :-#

A major pain. When your doing 14 minute trips with 20 second banking runs, you don't want to have to waste 2 minutes getting to pools every time.
