Combat Gear

I am about to start training my combat via slayer and I am wondering what is the best combat gear I can have for my levels which are:

 

 

 

Attack-61

 

Strength-62

 

Defence- 60

 

Range- 60

 

Magic-70

 

Prayer- 52

 

Hitpoints- 63

 

 

 

I will be using Melee.

 

 

 

Money isn't really that much of an important factor.

Dragon scimmy certainly, rune armor will be enough but could always go for fighter torso/d-legs/d-boots/neitz helm if you can.

^Fighter torso is only somewhat useful if you love BA and play it a lot. From a practical standpoint it is not worth getting.

I felt it was worth getting for general Slayer, and I'm sure others do too. Whether or not an item is worth obtaining is purely opinion. :)

For slayer, with it decaying in 15 mins?! (Or 20 mins, doesnt matter) You'd be mad to try that! :o

 

I'd go with d legs and boots, blk mask, rune pl8 body, and best rfd gloves (Or combat bracelet)

There are many other variables to consider besdies XP. ;)

 

 

 

Like what? Fighter torso increases xp by 0.6%, meaning you'll have to train over 1000 hours for it to be worth it.

 

 

 

You just screwed yourself out of several hours of your time.
