Nah since netbooks became popular Microsoft allows you to download office then use your product key when installing. You'll need to use something like magic beans keyfinder to get your product key before you install though. Just check that your brother actually uninstalled office, he might just have deleted the shortcuts. Dracion1 Posted April 9, 2009 Share Posted April 9, 2009 If he's removed everything from add/remove programs then you'll need a disk to reinstall it, if you've got a prebuilt machine which came with office on it the manufacturer usually gives you some CDs to reinstall it. If you haven't got these, you're going to need to get a new copy, and make him pay for the software. Microsoft Office is a closed source paid for product which focuses heavily on its own formats.
