toast647
Yeah, I'd agree with 1/20k. I got one after 15k, shame they were so cheap though. Come to #tip-it on Swift IRC, if you're cool

deadngone
I've been doing dust devils for slayer task. I killed around 1000s of em already. No drop. No luck  . I might just not camp there and concentrate on lvling my slayer to lv 85 and then kill abby demons. I heard they are 1/450 chance for whip, way better then getting a d chain 1/20000 lol..
NoobelPrize
A couple years back, my friend was telling me so much about Dust Devils, and how he was so excited to finally be going there. He finally gets there, and gets a Dragon Chainbody on his second kill. -.- I was soo jealous.
AxiSyn
ok while d chain is super rare, (i've killed 1000s between camping for charms and tasks) and rarest drop was a shield left half, with lots of vambs, rune arrows and other alch drops. This however does NOT mean the drop rate is 1/20k a drop rate that rare would be akin to winning the one of those state lotteries (like powerball or megabucks here in maine) here in the USA in the true math of it heres a guide explaining all the math viewtopic.php?f=180&t=786310 Quest cape first Achieved 29JAN2009, Re-Achieved 15SEP2011, Cook cape Achieved 12APR2009 (Easter 2009)Strength Cape Achieved 20NOV2010Now offering assists for 97 Farming, 97 Smithing, and 97 Herblore, PM me in-game!!!Proud U.S. Navy Sailor

AxiSyn
yea powerball is 1/195 mil, but saing d chain is 1/20k doesnt mean yes youll get one in 20k kills chk out that link and other thread in AoW edit- think of all drops as a kinda of lottery as jagex has said they're like a roulette wheel, and thus u can win big or lose lots(through pots and food etc) Quest cape first Achieved 29JAN2009, Re-Achieved 15SEP2011, Cook cape Achieved 12APR2009 (Easter 2009)Strength Cape Achieved 20NOV2010Now offering assists for 97 Farming, 97 Smithing, and 97 Herblore, PM me in-game!!!Proud U.S. Navy Sailor

AxiSyn
fair enough, some people like to THINK you will when its stated that way and i wanna make sure people know that's totally not the case but in reality i'm thinkin d chain from dusties is prolly more like 1/5k not 20k but would need info etc which i'm sure someone has Quest cape first Achieved 29JAN2009, Re-Achieved 15SEP2011, Cook cape Achieved 12APR2009 (Easter 2009)Strength Cape Achieved 20NOV2010Now offering assists for 97 Farming, 97 Smithing, and 97 Herblore, PM me in-game!!!Proud U.S. Navy Sailor
