Party hats could only fluctuate within 1% of their price. With the wonderful use of price caps, Jagex has made every partyhat almost completely unbuyable on the GE, and if you want one, you should probably try buying the partyhat with junk such as 3rd age or getting a lower one in a similar manner and upgrading. Most likely, it was underground for a while, but then was leaked. However, when it was underground, people gained enough profit by it that they could spend the money on rares. When more people knew about it, it would've just made it worse. Makes perfect sense, since at first only the cheap ones rose. That would mean the cheaters only had a little money in the beginning, but still wanted to spend. But after a week all of them, except blue, started to rise. ~It's Super Effective! You say that 3A is no longer good for holding wealth. But it's been on the rise for a while, so I do not understand how it's bad for holding cash. Phats are also rising, and are about the same in terms of price as 3A, but yet they are good for holding cash? I'm not getting something here. ~It's Super Effective! The only demand left was manipulators who tried to milk 3a til it dies. Now most 3rd age items drop 5% every couple of days. They buy for minimum on GE. The most stable piece was 3rd age platelegs, but from today's GE chart it seems it also crashed. Crash and burn. (150m so I can get melee set please.)
