your probably going to want a bit more defence and prayer bonus, so no void in that situation.

I love void range.

 

 

 

For most monsters, I still hit as often as with dragon hides while I do 10% more damage. I feel void is essential for serious ranging.

Void range - Anything where you wont be taking damage while using it.

 

Void melee - Anything where the more damage you do, the better chance of you getting the drop (FFA at Bandos) or where you won't take much damage. (

With a DFS I can use void range on just about anything, so it's definetly not just low level monsters.

 

 

 

Never use void melee with anything but a GS. Since GS is only really viable at bosses and void has way too low def for pretty much all bosses, void melee is nearly completely useless. It's nice if you feel like maxing with GS's I guess...

You can use void melée with a godsword at bandos if your not tanking. Works fine for me

Whip/defender with void gives epic experience. Put salve (e) on top of that, and armoured zombies are the best experience you can possibly get.

Strength boost equipment gives just about the same max hit with whip, if not more. The accuracy I'm not sure about, but since you sacrifice barrow gloves it wouldn't be too far ahead (again, if at all). Since void doesnt let you have high prayer bonus, that means you spend alot of your time running up and down recharging prayer, and with a low defence level has you eating food even with a bunyip.

Low defense stuff. Fact is the black dhide gives more ranged accuracy bonus than Void, so if you're having trouble hitting, your solution is to switch to black dhide.

 

 

 

For melee, you should use slayer anyway, although if you don't you would take void to places where you don't need the defense of barrows or bandos.
