Tip.it on Facebook: At the Ambassadors' Reception...

Featured Replies

I got a mental image of the kids at rune village when they read that. I pictured a bunch of 12 years old sitting at their screen saying "lolo! pwned!" in real life.

Boy, are newcomers to RV going to be surprised  .

As I read in someone's signature once; A paragraph is like a womans skirt. Long enough to cover the subject, but short enough to keep things interesting.

That's one of the best quotes I've heard for a long time.

Less is more in many respects. It's an introduction, not a contest to see who can write more. And personally I think Sio did a fine job at it. Being an ambassador doesn't just mean talking about who you're representing, but also showing who you are. People would like to know what kind of person the ambassador is, what are their likes and dislikes so they don't offend them and find ways to communicate with them on a unique level of cooperation and camaraderie. :)

I liked our introduction. Although it didn't say much about Tip.It, it doesn't mean that we don't have enough to offer. Whoever is deciding between fansites will most likely check out both before deciding. I personally haven't heard much speak about Runevillage in the past couple years, so I felt as though they were speaking from beyond the grave. I liked that Siobhana's introduction was more personal. Come on, she makes lasers. Who wouldn't follow her into battle? *pew* *pew*

This was posted on the Rsof, though.. right? I am sure that the people we would want here would take the time to check out both sites before deciding. It's fine with me if the "other" people see that Snake wrote more and don't even check out Tip.It.

When she said she was 31, I thought the yo added was slang, "I'm 31 yo,"

That was weird.

Anyway, OT: I think she did do a pretty good job representing us. I for one wouldn't be searching Facebook for a RuneScape fansite, but if I did read those two I'd probably go for tip.it since RV is so... arrogant lol. The we're-all-kind-[cabbage] is just so... unrealistic lol.

PS: where's this on Facebook? I can't find it.

I thought it was all right, short and sweet ;)

I liked Siobhana's intro. If I was looking for a Runescape forum and I see her post, I'd think "Ooo friendly person, must be from a friendly community then." *checks Tip.it*
