Hey everyone, I'm thinking about soloing bandos, but have a few questions...

 

 

 

1.What is the best familiar for me to use? I have 70 summoning.

 

 

 

2.Whats gonna be the better option for me, whip+defender, or trying to borrow a BGS from someone?

 

 

 

3.How many kills per trip do you think I could get with 93 str, 91 atk, 85 def, 93 hp, and 63 prayer?

2.)Personal preference although people say whip plus defender is better at maxed melee but give both a try I would say.

 

3.) Your defense is quite low for soloing so maybe 2-3 kills (don't take my word for it).

Whip + defender is better at all soloing stats.

What's more worse is that he can't use piety. So I'd definitely say not over 2

Yeah soloing really isnt as easy as it looks. with my stats i find it hard to get a kill. For Solo i would suggest 95 str, 90atk and 90def. 70+ prayer and 80mage. Dont even try solo without it coz you will be wasting time'

You might not be skilled enough, in the nicest way possible. I don't think I'll ever be able to solo bandos, unless I had 99's in everything lol. I'm not the type of person who likes to get intense on Runescape and do like tons of clicking. I am lazy like that :P.

 

 

 

And On topic. You should try to get atleast 90 defense. And remember defense doesn't lower the dmg you take, it merely gives you a better chance of forcing your enemy to hit a 0. There should be a guide in the AoW, though I forgot who the author is. I think it's Toast647. Look it up, its helpful and gives you recommended stats and equipment and all that good stuff.

3.How many kills per trip do you think I could get with 93 str, 91 atk, 85 def, 93 hp, and 63 prayer? I can manage 1 kill easily but piety does make a bit of a difference. I would say 2 at the most.

dragonfire shield>rune defender.

 

 

 

I can get 2 kills soloing with whip and rune defender and 2 1/2 kills with ags.

with 98 atk 99 str 77 def 70 prayer and a turtle i get 1 kill with maybe 2 or 3 sharks left over when i use a whip and with ags i cant even get 1 kill so i would train def and use whip to solo

Whips are faster than Godsword's, but surely, when eating every 2 or 3 hits, the speed of how fast the weapon hits consecutively will no longer be a factor in efficency of killing bandos. so, in effect, the more accurate and higher hitting god sword will come out the prodominetly better weapon.

 

 

 

i rest my case.

Whip is only better with high attack (95+) other then that use a godsword as you will hit alot of zero's with a whip, and if u do use a whip, use a dfs first, if u easily get a few kills then try a defender.
