noble_aloof
hello, i've been searching for a good magic guide on the forums and i can't find one. heres what im trying to do: 1. get from 84-90 mage WITH hitpoints exp and make 50k+/h 2. get from 84-90 mage WITHOUT hp exp and make 50k+/h a good expeience rate would be maybe 65k per hour, i have all 3 spellbooks and 1.5mil to spend on primary runes and materials. ps- i will be farming ranarrs in the process (most likely) any help or guides would be appreciated, thanks. my ideas: none atm. Cptbaker08
Well you can try either Fire Bolting Iron/Steel Dragons for gaining HP Exp and maybe make some cash, or you could try bursting Rock Lobsters, no profit really but you do get charms for Summoning. Or you can try DKs and get alot of profit if u get lucky. I know String Jewellery is a good noncombat way of magic, no profits but you get like 3.75 gp/exp doing that, and its more then 100k exp/hr. Other wise i know of no noncombat ways of profiting with magic. noble_aloof
meh, can't afford bursting.. steels and aviansies are crowded.. and like i said, i at least have to break even. there must be some monster that i can kill and get profit (that isn't too crowded) Staking: 4+ mil Current Status: Training defense

noble_aloof
it might actually be possible to kill green dragons with magic.. i saw a guy water blasting at blues and he was extremely accurate and hitting high. he was probably making money aswell. do you think i should try that? :? #-o Staking: 4+ mil Current Status: Training defense

Idk how well magic will work on them seeing as Dragons are magical creatures with bodies resistant to magic. llamster
If you make over 350k an hour (aviansies are that much or more at your level) bursting is 50k xp an hour, without costing anything, plus 30+ crims an hour   Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

llamster
thats what i thought he said.. but i'd be losing a cabbageload of money. No you wouldn't. 50k mage xp an hour, 35 crims an hour, 0 cost, if you kill aviansies for two hours for every hour you burst. 25-30k range xp an hour too. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
noble_aloof
so, IF i didn't kill aviansies, it would cost around 700-800k an hour? it sounds interesting however, i might try it. Silver_Corner
so, IF i didn't kill aviansies, it would cost around 700-800k an hour? it sounds interesting however, i might try it. Despite them being often crowded, I would recommend you kill Avians. But NOT with range. Its a little unknown fact that Avians actually have a low magic defence (similar to the barrows brothers magic defence). You can gain a fair amount of Magic Xp there, while gaining a fair sum of money from the bar drops. The bars and alchs are usually more than enough to pay for the runes/prayer pots used, if you use economical methods such as Air & Fire Wave, or slayer dart. The only downfall is, being in mage robes, you either have to tank them or use prayer potions.

noble_aloof
thanks everyone. i have seen people at aviansies, maging them successfully. i will probably try it out.. i'd use like god-robes for a godly prayer bonus (no pun intended) i hear they are very crowded now, but its worth a try. i made over 10mil there last year.
