Woah, black marks. Help?

Okay so I was checking out what options you have in Account Management on the RuneScape site, and I decide to check if I have any black marks. Turns out I have 10.5 out of 10 and am in the red zone. Checking what it was for, apparently in 2006-7 I tried to sell my account and scam someone for like a gnomeball.

 

 

 

Funny thing is.. I didn't even play back then. I quit for like 3 years. So when it came to that I'm pretty confused. Apparently they've already been appealed and denied.

 

 

 

When I came back to RS, I used a password recovery to get my account back, so does anyone reckon someone's been using my account in the meantime? None of my stats were any higher and I have no idea what was in my inventory lol.

 

 

 

Also, can I appeal those black marks again? I'd be gutted if I got a report for something small and lost my account over it.

You don't really have a foot to stand on. Unless you can provide JaGex with hard proof that you did NOT play during the time your offences were made and unless you can prove that you were NOT the one makeing the offences you have NO case.

Yeah makes sense. 10.5 black marks though I was, um, surprised to say the least hah.

Supposedly Jagex is implementing a reduction system, where the longer you play without any infractions, your Black Marks will be reduced.

Where do you go to find how many blackmarks you have? I tried to look for it but I couldn't find it.
