Right so I got a dagannoth task and decided to figure best way to do it money wise etc

 

 

 

Now according to tip.it beastiary the lvl 92 dagannoths at lighthouse drop hides

 

 

 

BUT according to the item database only the ones at waterbirth drop them.

 

 

 

can anyone confirm either way?

I know it doesn't really answer your question, but kill them in the chaos tunnels.

 

 

 

You get hides and alot more charms.

Ive never gotten any from the lighthouse ones

Lighthouse ones don't drop hides

Lighthouse dagannoths: no hides

 

Waterbirth danannoths: hides

 

Chaos tunnel dagannoths: hides

 

 

 

I would't kill them in the chaos tunnels because its multi. I prefer the waterbirths since there's hardly ever anyone there, theyre still great xp and have far better drops then their lighthouse brothers :P

The CT Dags are quite fast even if you don't cannon. Wear prayer boosting armor such as Proselyte and pray Range Protect. Bringing a combat familiar helps out when killing them. Bring alchs and alch the Fremmy Helm, Swords and round shields. Kepp the circular hides and the special helm and sell thsoe on the GE. I can make about 50k-100k from the drops. So you make a little profit after counting the Prayer Potions.
