my first couple of sigantures :D

Recommended Posts

Color theory, learn it or at least look up the basics please. Also if you have to choose between GIMP or Paint.net choose GIMP, PDN sucks the big one.

Here... Stay with gimp if you use these...

Featured

More specifically

Full Signature Tutorial

1. Familiarize yourself with GIMP/PDN, mess around with filters, tools anything(Just Don't post)

2. Read the tut above and the other tuts in the first link.

3. Wait and hour or so.

4. Do a signature or 2 without looking at any tuts, try to do it from memory(Its ok if you for get steps or add steps(Yours suppose to))

5. Read the big tut and see how you did remembering

6. Read the full tut and wait again.

7. Repeat 4 again and again.

It should make you a better artist.

You're latest is somewhat of an improvement from the last.

Are you actually following any tutorials or doing this off by heart?

You're text shouldn't be huge and attracting too much attention, it's the render/picture you're using that does that. I'd say that if you want to use text, make it smaller and match the mood of the signature. So that's not overly fancy.

... But it seems that you're not even following people's C/C and I can see that by the quality of your work :wall: .

Have you taken a look at some of the tutorials that have been posted?!

When people give you critisism because your work is different you dont always have to listen to them. You think picasso changed his art because people said the faces were off? NO.

Btw I think you did great on my sig
