Well i am still trying to perfect my Aviansie Mage Outfit for people who do not wich to wear Barrows. Would this be an okay setup?

 

 

Can i only obtain Mage Book from MTA or can i just buy it on GE?

You can buy it and i think dagonhai (sp?) would be better as its also cheaper

EDIT: Relooked, everything is Mage based. Now, Ahrims has defence (WOW, I know eh?) Not much, but its decent. So, Ahrims might be better than infinity.

 

Since you're using magic dart, it should be noted it is affected by magic bonus, but not as much as elemental blasts, waves, bolts, etc.

 

A Torag helmet would be good, because I dont think it takes much off of magic attack, but adds quite a bit defence.

Dagon'Hai also requires a quest of some sort though, doesnt it?

And tanking owns praying.

 

 

 

Its alot, ALOT less cash praying than tanking. And an infinity setup would cost alot more than an Ahrims set up with Torag helm..

I made no mention of any other guides. If people wish to tank, then they can use a diff guide. I would like to know if the outfit above is suitable for a Prayer Based method.

Repair costs for a helm is nothing. An inventory of pray pots dont last as long as a helm and they cost about the same, note that the ahrims is optional in tanking, wheras the torag helm is almost mandatory. :P

To be kinda honest, Gorg, it's a decent set, but the god items are nearly amazingly needed. the cape can be replaced with a Mage arena one, and possibly Vambs instead of gloves?

The only ones who can do any form of serious damage are the Sara Mages. Switch on Mage Pro till out of reach then switch on Ranged Pro.

Ok, it's a set. It's good. But requires alot of moving. A WMA cape would be nice and god vambs too?

If you plan to pray you'll be losing way more money on ppots with that set up. Use a mitre, dagon'hai bottom and top, unholy book, and a stole will give you 19 more prayer bonus for only 23 less mage attack. The mage's book is tradable.

With the setup i'm using ATM i only have a +9 Prayer bonus and i'm making alot of profit. I actually put some facts behind my statistics before i post them. Maybe try doing the same next time?

I don't see any statistics.

Replace infinity with ahrims and replace skill cape with zammy cape. Make sure you kill right outside the door to the boss room. Also replace the fury with an arma pendant.
