Teaks with mousekeys would be best.

Willows second best.

Maples will never be better than willows for xp, sorry.

Do teak trees at ape atoll.

a lot of dropping needed but it's worth it!

Only his/her woodcutting is ranked, so I'd bet that they haven't done the quest.

Your best questless bet would be the teak tree near Castle Wars.

But, the Ape Atoll would be better.

Actually, the best questless place for teaks is Tai Bwo Wannai, just buy some trading sticks from the GE and off you go.

I guess.

If you want to pay the money for the sticks everytime you enter, or play the minigame.

With Castle Wars all you might need is a ring of Duelling.

I've never cut in Tai Bwo Wannai, so I'm unaware as to how many teaks there actually are there.

But in terms of spending money, and time:

Tai Bwo Wannai - 400gp (100 sticks at 4gp each ) to get in each time

-Walking distance can be far for some

Castle Wars - 174.875 ( cost for 1/8 uses from Duelling ring, costing 1,399gp )

-Shorter distance for some

In the long run, Castle Wars is cheaper, and shorter.

Edit --- Just looked it up.

So, Castle Wars would be better if you're going to cut for maybe thirty minutes or so, get bored and then go do something else

Tai Bwo Wannai would be better if you plan to stay there for awhile, so you don't have to do the long walk again.

It would all depend on how dedicated you are I guess, and of course your personal preference.

It is longer, but let's be honest 400gp isn't very much at all. If you want to keep your money, just take an invent of teaks to sell with you when you leave. The only downside is the long walk, which is easily made up for by all the extra trees. I think there are only like 1-2 teaks at the CW spot while there are like 8 at TBW.

My friend went for 99 woodcutting on willows, he achieved his goal fairly fast, but if you don't mind power-leveling/dropping logs, then go for teaks.

Teaks at the Hardwood Grove on Karamja (Tai bwo wannai) gets you 9990 sticks worth of logs (many more if you use a terrorbird or whatever), and its only a few hundred, (yeah probably less than 2.5k) xp than the Ape Atoll dropping way, and you profit a bit off the logs. A bit of money always helps.

I dont need a siggy no moar.

This is another great method. Just another reason why TBW owns the other places ::'

Although to be fair, banking them with the parcel service is slower than dropping, it's up to you whether the profit you get is worth the xp loss or not. Personally, I'd rather drop them for the xp, just that's just me. Every person is in a different situation.

Also remember if you DO use the parcel service, be sure to stock up on LOTS of trading sticks beforehand. I'm talking tens of thousands for an extended period of time, otherwise you'll end up turning back too often.
