At least 2 plant cure, as crops you will grow in this quest may get diseased you'll probably need more. You will need 2 plant cures further on in the quest, after growing these crops. If you need additional plant cures for your crops, you can also buy them from a farmer (at the patch) for 25 Gp, or at a farming store for 40 Gp.

Also, if you decide not to use amulet of nature I would recommend bringing noted items for alcing, to make time pass faster while you wait.

hmmm...I can't recall any of my plants getting diseased during that quest. It must just be random like regular planting...in which case normal farming suggestions would apply?

I think it's good to add anyway, as plants do get diseased randomly, and the alcing's always useful.

I guess, but it's not really any different than planting anything else. Maybe a note like that would be advised, but I don't think adding plant cures is necessarily the only way to point it out. Perhaps something that points out that the planting of those plants is like planting anything else and those may get diseased so take normal farming precautions.

Then again, since you can't pray for protection, those things are in a sense, herbs or flowers...so it's normal flower farming precautions.

I don't know...maybe recommended items could say something about one plant cure or something. You can always run to the guy guarding the tree patch south of that area by going through the castle to buy some if you're watching carefully...that's if it's a common thing for them to get diseased. As I mentioned, I was one of the people that didn't even know it could happen because I didn't have any get diseased. Surely there are more people out there that didn't, just like me.

Hello there. Regarding this quest about using plant cures. I don't recall any of my growing plants becoming diseased. I'm not even sure if they can/could get diseased during the quest. You don't need to harvest anything you grow for this quest I think all you have to do is let the plant grow and collect the seeds from the relevant Non Playing Character (NPC). In the quest guide kindly provided by tip.it, it explains that you need one/two plant cures for when you are on to planting the Burthrope vines. For the next thing your saying about bringing Noted items for using the alchemy spells while you wait for your plants to simply grow. I would just recommend you move on to plant the next plant on the list so you have more then one plant growing at the same time, therefore making the quest a lot shorter. I did this and probably had my amulet of Nature attached to one of the patches to make sure those plants were free from disease. I have kindly provided links below for easy access to different parts of the website. Hope this helps

Plants grown in order to collect the seeds you need can become diseased during this quest, the best advice I can give if you're worried about doing this quest with no plant death is to use super compost (ALWAYS use super compost if you think something might die) and then to attach the nature ammy to a patch and move on to the next if wanting to do it quickly. Then if you get a warning that something is happening at that patch keep some sort of teleport close to that patch handy so you can take the appropriate action.

Yeah well said, using super compost increases your chances of your plants not becoming diseased I think and using the amulet of nature bound to a patch will let you know when there's something wrong. Even though you can only have one amulet of glory bound to a patch at any given time.
