aspeeder
Well its my first gargoyle task, basically what should I expect and what should I bring? If I bring a bunyip how much emergency food should I bring? Any summon pots for more yips? Will a whip suffice as a weapon, or would something else be better? At my lvls would it be easier to safe-spot them with range? Anything I'm frogetting? http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/ww6/aspeeder/Siggy_zpsewaiux2t.png 99 Strength since 6/02/10 99 Attack since 9/19/10 99 Constitution since 10/03/10 99 Defense since 3/14/11 99 Slayer since 8/30/11 99 Summoning since 9/10/11 99 Ranged since 09/18/11 99 Magic since 11/12/11 99 Prayer since 11/15/11 99 Herblore since 3/29/12 99 Firemaking since 5/15/12 99 Smithing since 10/04/12 99 Crafting since 9/16/13 99 Agility since 9/23/13 99 Dungeoneering since 1/1/14 99 Fishing since 2/4/14 99 Mining since 2/28/14 99 Farming since 6/04/14 99 Cooking since 6/11/14 99 Runecrafting since 10/10/14 9 Fletching since 11/11/14 99 Thieving since 11/14/14 99 Woodcutting since 11/20/14 99 Construction since 12/03/14 99 Divination since 2/22/15 99 Hunter since 2/23/15 99 Invention since 01/20/17 99 Archaeology since 5/14/22 99 Necromancy since 11/22/25 Quest Point Cape since 08/20/09 Maxed since 2/23/15 Fire Cape since 02/27/13 Slayer: 3 Leaf-Bladed Swords, 8 Black Masks, 2 Hexcrests, 26 Granite Mauls, 5 Focus Sights, 33 Abyssal Whips, 9 Dark Bows, 1 Whip Vine, 3 Staffs of Light, 15 Polypore Sticks Dragon: 10 Draconic Visages, 7 Shield Left Halves, 20 Dragon Boots, 40 Dragon Med Helms, 8 Dragon Platelegs, 6 Dragon Spears, 20 Dragon Daggers, 5 Dragon Plateskirts, 1 Dragon Chainbody, 63 Off-hand Dragon Throwing Axes, 19 Dragon Longswords, 27 Dragon Maces, 1 Dragon Ward Treasure Trails: Saradomin Full Helm, Ranger Boots, Rune Body (t), Saradomin Vambraces, Various God Pages Misc:1 Onyx,1 Ahrim's Hood, 1 Guthan's Chainskirt, 1 Demon Slayer Boots
Bladewing
You'll need 0 emergency food. I'd be prepared to use two bunyips for the whole task. Whip and Rune Defender is your best option. I mean your BEST option - nothing is better. Ranging is much slower, and it's a fairly inefficient method of training ranged - you'd be better off making money and chinning at Ape Atoll. Don't forget a rock hammer, as well as a nosepeg for running past Aberrant Spectres. How to Chin Nechyraels for fast XP and profit
aspeeder
Seeing that I have a slayer helm the nosepeg won't be an issue ;) Really though, no emergency food? They either must not hit very often or very high... http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/ww6/aspeeder/Siggy_zpsewaiux2t.png 99 Strength since 6/02/10 99 Attack since 9/19/10 99 Constitution since 10/03/10 99 Defense since 3/14/11 99 Slayer since 8/30/11 99 Summoning since 9/10/11 99 Ranged since 09/18/11 99 Magic since 11/12/11 99 Prayer since 11/15/11 99 Herblore since 3/29/12 99 Firemaking since 5/15/12 99 Smithing since 10/04/12 99 Crafting since 9/16/13 99 Agility since 9/23/13 99 Dungeoneering since 1/1/14 99 Fishing since 2/4/14 99 Mining since 2/28/14 99 Farming since 6/04/14 99 Cooking since 6/11/14 99 Runecrafting since 10/10/14 9 Fletching since 11/11/14 99 Thieving since 11/14/14 99 Woodcutting since 11/20/14 99 Construction since 12/03/14 99 Divination since 2/22/15 99 Hunter since 2/23/15 99 Invention since 01/20/17 99 Archaeology since 5/14/22 99 Necromancy since 11/22/25 Quest Point Cape since 08/20/09 Maxed since 2/23/15 Fire Cape since 02/27/13 Slayer: 3 Leaf-Bladed Swords, 8 Black Masks, 2 Hexcrests, 26 Granite Mauls, 5 Focus Sights, 33 Abyssal Whips, 9 Dark Bows, 1 Whip Vine, 3 Staffs of Light, 15 Polypore Sticks Dragon: 10 Draconic Visages, 7 Shield Left Halves, 20 Dragon Boots, 40 Dragon Med Helms, 8 Dragon Platelegs, 6 Dragon Spears, 20 Dragon Daggers, 5 Dragon Plateskirts, 1 Dragon Chainbody, 63 Off-hand Dragon Throwing Axes, 19 Dragon Longswords, 27 Dragon Maces, 1 Dragon Ward Treasure Trails: Saradomin Full Helm, Ranger Boots, Rune Body (t), Saradomin Vambraces, Various God Pages Misc:1 Onyx,1 Ahrim's Hood, 1 Guthan's Chainskirt, 1 Demon Slayer Boots
transcript80
Kill the ones in the choas tunnels. They are like a 10 sec walk from edgeville. Buyips for healing, take some emergency food if you feel like it, but I think you don't need it. I like to kill them with a SS, since they seem weak to crush. Just a personal preference, though and an excuse to use that high-priced toy to train my strength ;) Of course, rock hammer is mandatory. I also take a super set,or enhanced excalibur for specs. cookie1762
I always bring about 5-6 peices of food at least, because they do hit a little. But you can last for a while on this amount, and the drops fill up your inventory, so by the time you run out of food you usually have quite a bit in your inventory. Have fun! : http://sign.tip.it/1/6/24/304/lady_scm.png Drops/Clue Finds:Shield left half: 1,Dragon plateskirt: 1, Warrior's Helm: 1, Obsidian Cape: 1, Robin Hood Hat: 1, Dragon Platelegs: 1, Dragon Boots: 4, Amulet of Ranging:
blakdragon39
DO BRING emergency food. Just one or two monks or something like that will be good. I had a task where I forgot to bring a few pieces of food and I was getting hit stupidly hard. (I'm level 121 or something like that, so I'm definitely not lacking in the combat department.) Anyways, I spent most of task praying melee WITH my bunyip, and in the end I had to bank anyways because I had no bunyip, no food and no prayer left. It won't hurt, they don't drop a ton of items that you need the space for anyways. :D
Kazel
I bring about 4 monks for reserve. DEFEINITELY kill the ones in Chaos Tunnels. Way more charms, and there's an obelisk up the rope and a few clicks away (the bridge near Edgeville). I would use Whip/Defender, that's what I always use. And don't forget rock hammer. That's pretty much all. SLAYERGEEK
