Morphic, or Volatile Tool?

Featured Replies

Which would you suggest?

I was thinking Volatile, due to the more experience, plus if I get a lot of everything, then I can choose freely which I want to do.

But then again, Morphic would be exact, so I could know what I'm going to do.

Volatile loses 10% each transformation and only 10% till you have to change it again I believe.

Morphic doesn't. Gives slightly less experience but doesn't lose 10% per change.

Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Saint Helens was a catostrophic geological event, in reality it was the day that Jimi Hendrix returned to Earth from the next world and actually stood up next to a mountain and chopped it down with the edge of his hand.

So even though morphic is less, it would be my better option? :)

A lot of players choose Morphic. Since SC is best used for the hammer, this would be a wise choice.

However, I personally hate doing the same thing over and over again. If I had a goal, I would choose Morphic. Seeing as how I don't need to raise any skills for anything drastic (quest/diaries), I choose volatile.

If you do the volatile path, make sure you buy the max limit of volatile tools which is 10. Then Morph all of them and see what you get. Train one skill with the tools until they all change into something else. You get a lil more bang out of your tools and it signals to you when to break the monogamy of powertraining one skill.

Morphic.

End of.

Volatile sucks.

I dont need a siggy no moar.

If you want to train a specific skill that you can use the tools for such as construction then you want the morphic tools because the volatile tools will really get on your nerves, even if you have ten of them.

Volatile has its uses as it does give a far greater xp rate.

The issue being you can't control what it becomes and can waste charge forcing it to re-change.

Unless you want to hop around assorted skills and do some pointlessly low end stuff such as hunt butterflys the volatile tool isn't worth the hassle
