'Project Trico' by Team ICO

Featured Replies

A video of what is allegedly 'Project Trico,' the third game from developer Team Ico, has surfaced on rumor-site PlayStation Lifestyle. We've no idea when the video was made, but it shows off almost four minutes of footage from the game. The art style is very similar to Ico and Shadow of the Colossus -- particularly the environment and character design, which lends credence to the idea that this is an official video. (There's also the fact that its opening scene looks exactly like a teaser image released by Team Ico last January.)

Hopefully this leak means we'll be hearing more about this game soon. We'd be happy if the entire Sony E3 press conference was a video dedicated to this amazing kitty dragon (LOLCATs go!). That thing is too adorable for words.

I havn't played any of their previous games, but they seem to have gotten good reviews. Looks interesting have to wait until E3 for any more details.

Ah, I heard about this a while ago... Can't recall where.

Anyway, I know it DOES take place at The End of the World (Where SoTC and I think ICO take place), and it's either after or before SotC era. I dunno, Wiki it.

apparently SotC is the prequel to Ico.

So, it's about a boy who befriends a flying dog thing? It looks like the gameplay would be similar to Zelda or something.

Well it definitely looks like the game's set on the same universe as SoTC and Ico: ancient ruins, gloomy-looking world, howling wind...though I don't recall seeing a place like that in Ico/SoTC.

I want to ride that griffin puppy thing  *kinda misses Agro*

This came up on my favourite news site the other day:

http://www.thesixthaxis.com/2009/05/23/ ... 9-release/

So don't let anyone tell you you're not worth the earth,

These streets are your streets, this turf is your turf,

Don't let anyone tell you that you've got to give in,

Cos you can make a difference, you can change everything,

Just let your dreams be your pilot, your imagination your fuel,

Tear up the book and write your own damn rules,

Use all that heart, hope and soul that you've got,

And the love and the rage that you feel in your gut,

And realise that the other world that you're always looking for,

Lies right here in front of us, just outside this door,

And it's up to you to go out there and paint the canvas,

After all, you were put on the earth to do this,

So shine your light so bright that all can see,

Take pride in being whoever the [bleep] you want to be.

Not gonna buy a console solely for a couple games.
