DarkX99
I got addicted to doing Evil Trees 2 days ago and now I want the most efficient way to spend my auto banking. I got my first 100% reward (on a mage tree with 99 WC :) ) and I usually go straight to the Yews in the Gnome Stronghold, in Catherby, or any Yews nearby. My Question: What's the best way to spend my few minutes of auto-banking? (Exp-wise,money-wise,overall efficiency) Keep in mind I have 99 WC. Thx for any advice. : 99 WC - 12/20/08! =D99 Defence - 6/19/09! 44,012 to reach it! Aiming for 2000 Total Lvl!
Kimberly
Exp wise, I'd have to say teaks on ape atoll or eucalyptus. Money wise I'd have to say yews (as you prolly chop more yews than you do magic in the same time) Overall efficiency, I'm not sure. Teaks make a bit of money and are very fast exp and would be my choice but I'm not 99 wc. :

From the RS Database: Further to this, you will also receive a temporary Woodcutting ability (lasts between 5 and 30 minutes) that makes your logs automatically go to your bank if your inventory is full. This will affect normal, oak, willow, maple, yew and magic trees. 99 WC - 12/20/08! =D99 Defence - 6/19/09! 44,012 to reach it! Aiming for 2000 Total Lvl! wioneo
Best xp would be the willows outside the fishing guild. There's like a kagillion(literally one kagillion, I counted) trees there, and noone cuts them. That's what I use my reward on. I don't really put much worth in profit from wc...so I wouldn't know anything about that. Troacctid
Yeah, the best thing to cut is willows. They're right next to a teleport, so you don't waste time on transportation, and they're the fastest xp you can get with the autobanking. lagatag
I usually cut willows if I get a low level tree that only gives like ~12 mins, maples if I get about 15-18 minutes, and yews if I get 20+ mins. Really no reason other than with shorter times I'd basically just get a couple logs over my inventory on higher trees, compared to several times my inventory with more time. Sometimes I'll cut magic trees if the tree is like a magic in isafdar too. More often than not I end up at maples because of the trees i get to. The thing is, see, willows are the only tree where it matters. Oaks and maples and normals are crap to begin with, and yews and magics you barely ever need to bank anyway. lordkafei
I always preferred using the cabbage port to the yews south of Falador. I would run over to Rimmington's yews from there. But I had 99 wc when I was doing evil trees, YMMV. Lots of people prefer the maples at Seers'. Bloodrex
well i did magic's a level or 2 ago and i got a little over 40 magics in the time i had so... money wise for you would be magics... xp wise... yews for you i believe (you want to waste a minute or two getting at those teaks while you can get to yews faster? overall efficiency would be yews i think (more firemaking xp, i think you get more yew firemaking xp then maple firemaking xp from the logs you gather) i hope this helps! i don't have the most accurate info but in the minutes you gain the banking boost the rate at which you gather magic logs seems to go up with me (i always get quite a few more logs that way then in the normal way)
