Ok, i was looking at the new summoning tables

 

And i want to know:

 

1- Do you need a scroll to use its ability

 

2- How often can you use its scroll ability

 

3- When its fighting, do you get the exp?

1. Some abilities you don't need scrolls for such as teleporting to hunting locations. Other familiars you do need scrolls for such as run restore with a terrorbird.

 

2. Well it takes a few seconds to activate the scrolls but you can use a scrolls right after the other. Different familiars use different amounts of the special bar so its not possible to give you an exact figure. You can restore the special bar by going to an obelisk or using a summoning potion too.

1. There's the familiar's special and ability. The ability is a right-click option (like a terrorbird's 'store' or karamthulu overlord's 'drown'.) while the special requires a scroll.

 

 

 

2. The answer above says it all. My guess is to stop some type of spamming like the unicorn's spec, there is a delay.
