Should i get Guthan's?

After i get 99Def i'll be getting back to Slayer (20k exp to go :) ) and i was wondering if Guthans would be handy even though i would hav 99Def, E E and Bunyip?

Nah, you have enough.

With 99 def, you'll probably be able to do most tasks in one trip with just food, let alone a bunyip. You can easily go without Guthan's.

I have 99 def EE and bunyip, and i haven't needed any extra healing from 84-85 slayer, and i'm using a SS so i don't have a shield either.

 

 

 

Guthan's would be a waste of inv and money imo.

I would get it. 2 or 3 good drops from a Bandos Coinshare with you tanking will pay it off easy. The week after I got 99 Def I had bought full guthans and a Bandos Godsword and had them paid off within the week thanks to tanking. \

I seem to have really bad luck at Bandos. 25hours the past week spent at Bandos and not a singel drop.

It is the easiest way to do them.

 

 

 

They are know to hit accurately, so relying on Guthan's set effect is not a good idea, because it can't be relied upon to come when you need it. I ended up needing to pray in the past when it wasn't healing, so I figured that with the release of the Chaos Tunnels, it'd be easier just to pray instead of rely on something which may not come (and it made Dharoking possible, along with faster trips).

Use a Combat familiar, not Bunyip. Use DDS specs, not EE specs. Use Prayer pots and use Offensive prayers. If you can do all this without Guthan's, get it. Guthan's is slow, but removing the above is slower.
