battletrax
I have an HDTV, but I don't care to buy the cables to get better picture, since they're expensive :( Assuming you have like a dvd player or something with component cables, you can buy a box to convert from the xbox output to component (you'd have to use your existing wires) for like $10. I got one on xtreme geek but they don't seem to have any more... I'd look for something like that.

Yeah, thats 10 dollars, expensive IMO now if there was one for 2-3 dollars that would be a good price I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam. I am a ps3 fan myself, the xbox is fune but I dont like the controler and we all know the xbox would have flopped if they hadn't release halo... Sega is dead, they resorted to making just arcade games now. Nintendo still owns the hand held realm (even though PSP is squeezing right along side) and as for a console, well I guess they will just duke it out like they always have. To be honest I could care less. But I bet those things are going to run darn hot... ...

Eldrad_Ulthran
The Ps2 had a 500 Mhz Processor while the Xbox ran 700 mhz. Ps3 and its Cell technology forced it to call back any production and push their release date to 2007.. Ps3 will die from Xbox 360. Nintendo Revolution is already dead. They just haven't made their Tombstone yet. Aww shucks, it's an Xbox fanboy... Did you know that PS2 sold 75 million units wordwide, whereas xbox only sold 15? Do you know how much money microsoft lost on Xbox, and will lose on the 360? Do you realize that Japanese gamers don't give a monkey's behind for North American games? I didn't think so. My computer can already beat out the 360 in any benchmark tests, I just wont have the games....(Below are PC stats) *Slaps c4* TWO 7800's? WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? (and what did you get in 3dmark 05?) All I can say is this. If the 360 can beat out two 7800's, (which I sincerely doubt), then imagine the kind of loss Microsoft will take on each system. More CPUs doesn't mean much today, since most games are GPU bound. Three processors doesn't mean much, especially since it will take programmers a few years until they can fully utilize the 360's power. (And by then, computers will have long surpassed the 360). The bottom line is, Xbox 360 will be a good bargain for the price, but in terms of gameplay, it will be surpassed by PCs, PS3, and Revolution. spartan11148
Darn it. Just as I was happilying noticing that there were no sony fannboys on this thread I noticed one above. As everything said above is FALSE!!! Get you facts straight. Oblivion Elder Scrolls (rpg exclusive for x360 and pc) will run better on a 360 said the developer. Not only that but top developers (EA, Ubisoft, Techmo, Mistwalker Studios, Activison, etc.) are saying u wont notice the difference between PS3 and 360 games. And in my opion Nintendo will opt for 'revolutionary' games and not fantastic technology. Like the DS and PSP, the PSP gameplay is better nut in some cases DS games are more innotive, making you think. MS have supplied an easy deveolpment code. Again top developers are praising the 360 for being so developer friendly while condemming the PS3 for doing the opposite. I admit it the Xbox was a flop in Japan but it is doing very well in Amreica. Even though Sony have sold more altogher than the Xbox, the Xbox is winning in the amount of consoles sold every week. THe Xbox was to get MS into the console market. THe 360 will bring the profits in! How, acceriories!!!! Unlike Sony (anyalst predictions), Ms will not be losing money on the consoles sold. This time round MS are having more Japaneese developers working on the 360. Final Fantsay creators are creating two exclusive RPGs for the 360. Sony fannboys ruin the community as they ignore fact and post wrong facts and shun Microsoft and Nintendo.
ShakaKhan70
This time round MS are having more Japaneese developers working on the 360. Final Fantsay creators are creating two exclusive RPGs for the 360. They're doing more than that, lately there have been many demonstrations, conventions, all those sorts of things, in Japan to help promote the 360, much more is being done in Japan than was done with the original Xbox. While I'm glad the 360 will have a bigger marketplace, I'm disappointed that it will have all those Japanese titles attached to it, I thought of the Xbox as, for lack of better words, the "anime free" system.
