I think the lighting on the glass needs some work... There is a little too much black in there for my taste.... How did you render it? How did you light it? Are you using FG/GI..?

I also don't like how you can see your two softbox white cards in that coffee render... I would work on maybe rendering different passes then doing some postwork to composite that stuff out of there.

It's pretty nice work though. :)

The lighting on the shield is rubbish. It also doesn't look like a shield that's made of metal... more cardboard than anything else.

It needs some metal texture and a proper reflection.

The only thing that looks remotely realistic is the wine glass, and there are tons of very easy-to-follow tutorials for that, so even I could do that.

You really need to work on the lighting, dude. Make them smoother.

How are you lighting them? Right now it looks like 2 big square polygons are emitters? But I'd like to know exactly what else you are using etc... maybe somebody could give you some insight.. because I think that the whitesquares are pretty tacky... No offense. You definitely have skill but try doing other things maybe?

Ah, the shield isn't looking good at all, it looks very basic and the dragon design looks blurry. Maybe using Splines would be better for that, if you aren't worried about polycount.

The lighting doesn't look right either. I think lighting like that only seems to work on glass materials, and even that had it's flaws (although still nice, I thought).
