voltagex
Hi guys, Just wondering what veggies you guys grow - strawberries are getting too expensive. I'm making a nice profit from growing Irits, plus I don't think I'm losing money on Limpwurts, unless you have better ideas...
Darksin68
Trees. /Topic. No, seriously. Use fruit trees, as in oranges and curry, then use wood trees. Imo, willows are great for XP and low on cost. The payments make them effortless, except for going to patch to patch. They are really cheap, and they take 14 hours to grow, so you can train other stuff. Any questions about them, feel free to ask. :ugeek: Current Whip Drops: 9 Current D Boots drops:
Everkenezer
well if you are in it for money, go with ranarrs and limps are good too. Strawberries are not expensive compared to watermelons. make sure you use magic secuetars and supercompost. Once you can, start growing kwuarms or toadflax. 99 Fishing
manitstinks
I think willows take less than 14 hours... somewhere around 330 minutes

mister_moocky
I do 4 curries (all fruit patches but the elven one), 5 willows, 1 toadflax in the Catherby herb patch since I have to run past it to get to the Catherby fruit tree patch, and 1 ranarr in the Trollhiem patch. Gets me about 20k xp per run and doesn't much. Allotments are a lot of hassle for little experience. quit
Barrellchest
Toadflax are the most consistant profit making herbs, with around a profit of 20k per seed. Marigolds are the best flower to plant for cash, with limpwurts being the second. I make all of my money off of toadflax and marigolds, and I am only 54 farming. Aeon_
Up to maple take 330 minutes to grow, and yew and magic is 420+ minutes. Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Saint Helens was a catostrophic geological event, in reality it was the day that Jimi Hendrix returned to Earth from the next world and actually stood up next to a mountain and chopped it down with the edge of his hand.-Random Youtuber
ladycai
Use trees, and make herbs on the side to earn money back. I managed to profit 1-73 farm about 2-3m. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]

Plant toadflax to make the money back and to earn profit. Or if you want slightly faster exp plant the highest level stuff and do as many herb runs per day as you can. You should break even like that. I personally plant kwuarms since I'm in it for the herblore exp as well + curry and willows. Do 1 tree run (including fruit trees) per day and a few herb runs and you'll profit ;)
