June 29, 200917 yr Just because something is in a guide, doesn't make it so. I was really hoping to get someone who has burned both sets of logs with the corpses and gotten results that say there is no difference. For instance, the key results could be the same, but with a higher frequency of more valuable rewards for burning higher quality logs. It appears that there is no difference, but I don't think it would be fair to say one way or the other without a study involving a large number of burns. June 30, 200917 yr I find that the higher level log does make a difference. My friend and I were there, I was using Teak, she was using Mahogany, and she would constantly get about 40-50k more gold per inventory of keys. Then when I switched to Yew, I found that I was getting slightly better rewards. I would suggest using the highest level pyre log you can make. June 30, 200917 yr Its all based on luck, you don't get different keys or anything by using different logs, so you shouldn't get any better rewards. However, I would reccomend using the best logs you can for the exp. Everyone loves exp.
