127 Hours was pretty boring imo.

 

And my problem with Eragon is that there is not a single original word in that entire series. It is ideas taken from a variety of sources and then meshed together.

I like the kinds of stories that Eragon is derived from... which is why I actually kind of enjoyed the books. But the fact that it's so unoriginal and basically copied from Dragonriders of Pern + LotR + other sources... lame.

Dragonriders of Pern: People are "chosen" to be dragonriders and run off to fight against evil, threats and whatnot. Same thing with the whole telepathic bond, etc. But there are loads of books, I haven't even read them all.

i enjoyed eragon, and i'm not a good person to say if a book is original... i like meshing plots and worlds together in my head.

 

also the author of eragon was 15-17 when he wrote the books.. and that's part of the reason the books got well known.

 

the other reason is that he pretty much bases eragon on himself, and it's like reading his fantasy story.

 

i like reading about people's fantasy worlds. like the world of xanth.

 

i also think another reason the book eragon got popular was that it appealed to all ages, and there's no sex in the book.

 

hell, the only relationship eragon has is a huge crush on some older elfen woman... who isn't interested in him, and probably will never be.

 

most other fantasy books actually have some sauce.

 

the only reason i hate the author or eragon is that he promised a trilogy and then decided he needed a fourth book, and said it was a quartlet.

 

however, i don't usually compare books, and base my liking on originality. i just read them, and if they're good enough to be remembered, i'll remember them.

 

@seanythebear actually no. the only reason i'd dump a guy is if he's not doing what i want. if i'm not comfy with a guy to tell him my fantasies, or listen to his, or tell him he's doing it wrong when we're together, then there's no reason for me to stay and i'll just gtfo.

 

why would i dump a guy for doing exactly what i want? i've dumped exes because they don't do what i want. one of them made me pay for all our dates... which i didn't mind... it's just that ut'd be harder to get my own place if i spend all my money.. right? i'm sure he didn't mind that part. however... he didn't want to talk to me all the time, got jealous, and told me to delete him off facebook. now, see the thing is.. i was really into facebook. and he used it a lot too. however he had really bad grammer skills, and he didn't know how to use facebook properly.he also hated it when i appeared smarter than him... but.. he wasn't very smart to begin with.. so it doesn't matter. i told everyone it was over between us.

 

another xp i've had with breaking up... this guy used to message me everyday, all the time!! but then he stopped. so i said do it again or else i break up with you.. and he said he'd agree to break up because i was being irrational, and when i cooled down, i wouldn't want to break up.

 

i told him gtfo and i'd never be his gf again.

 

what? he wasn't doing what i wanted... and that was the only thing too...

 

cause he did almost everything else i wanted. except complain about having to do stuff he didn't really want to do.. he'd argue with me an-bout three to four hours, and then do as i wanted.. or i'd get him to promise something, and he'd agree, only to forget.

 

i'm not sure if he forgot things on purpose just so he'd get punished.

 

maybe the problem lies with me. maybe i'm too picky and should just be happy some guy is glancing in my direction. but.. the thing is.. i can't.

 

first of all, if i went out with another guy i have no feelings for, i'd be bored.

 

i need to be on friendly terms with him that i don't mind if he wants to get into my pants. but he has to respect me as a person and a friend.

 

i don't intend to waste my precious free time with a guy who only cares about my body instead of how amazing my mind and personality are. not when there's manga, books to read, movies and tv shows to watch, and minecraft to play.

 

i'm sure not all girls are like me, where they're selfish, mean, and picky. i wouldn't mind doing half the chores.. but if i can get a guy who will do all the chores for me, then come and rub my feet and give me food to eat...

maybe i am living in a fantasy world. maybe i should give up on guys altogether... but i don't really like girls.. they usually annoy me. and i dislike breasts.

 

i should just hold out for my dream guy who'll still love me and want to feed me when i'm fat and who loves me when i'm skinny... and who doesn't mind doing things for me.

 

it'd also be good if my dream guy was rich. but i wouldn't want a guy so rich he prefers making money instead of being with me.

 

my dream is to live in a small house with my hubby, and there are trees, a pond, a river or stream, a waterfall, our pets etc, and us not having yo worry about making ends meet.

 

it'd be nice to spend time with someone i like and respect. browsing the net together, sharing links, sharing stories and theories, teaching each other about stuff...

 

i can't exactly marry a vegan/vegetarian. i wouldn't be able to kiss after eating meat. but other than that, as long as the food he cooks is tasty, i'll eat it.

 

i don't really want a bf or a husband in the general sense.

 

i want a best friend who'd do anything for me, that i can grow old with.

 

i would do almost anything for him too!
