So this girl i was considering asking out, I asked her if she was dating a certain someone, who she is close friends with. She said he asked her out on friday yet she has yet to give an answer.The problem here resides in the fact that the "Other" guy is a semi-friend of mine. he sits at mu lunch table and we get along well. While his offer is on the table, I won't make one, so as to avoid future awkwardness should she say no, and awkwardness if she says ok and denies "other". My true conundrum lies in the fact that, if she does turn "other" down, should i proceed? I would dislike to create any weirdness/animosity with "other".
