Hell, my internet's gotten a lot better over the past month or so.

Reverting back to yesterdays discussion a bit.

 

I've considered living in Australia, but I loves me my 'Murica.

The "Is America a greedy country?" thread in OT is pretty entertaining, I tell ya.

I left OT because it really isn't a good place to have an argument.

 

Considered posting my opinion on this, but on some level that's politics and I don't want to get into it.

I just find it amusing how quickly it became another America vs. UK debate

One debate I rarely get to have but i do like is the value of human life. Once again, rather not discuss it here, but it's food for thought.

Food for thought is one of the greatest forms of nourishment.

 

The phrase "everything happens for a reason" both scares me to death and gives me hope. I don't believe that everything comes paired with something as cause/effect, but the idea that things don't just randomly happen is great. When it comes to things like Japan's disasters, it's due to scientific reasons, tectonic plates, etc. But believing in that phrase, I find hope that there's answers about why certain things have happened in my life or why people I know have done certain things.

It rained here today, I think I was more amused than I should be but I haven't seen/heard legit rain since before winter. I've heard a bit of thunder though, thunder and lightning during snow is super cool.

I've toyed with the idea of fate and a higher power.

I think for a while i believed in Fate, but now looking back I think it was because, I was looking for proof.I saw my life as constantly testing me,but now I think i saw that because in a sense i wanted to be tested.

 

I have my own beliefs as to a higher power, but that's more of a touchy subject.

I just realized that I had changed my tif password some time ago and when I tried to put it today I was putting the old password. I'm an idiot.
