It sucks being the best friend. You're not family, you're not going to be family, and of course you're not (and don't want to be) the "significant other". You feel like you're required to have relationships with all those people, but the best friend is optional. Yeah, it's great when you have a best friend who treats you like family and acts like that to you, but then you can be dropped anytime still.

No, not really. But time will end up taking her since her boyfriend gave her a ring. I only see her on the weekends and she's gonna spend half her weekends with him, so it'll just gradually change.

 

The ring though, she told me a couple weeks ago that someone was saying that if he doesn't get her one soon he never will, so I'm not wondering if that comment by someone had anything to do with him getting her one. Which would suck for her, if he's just doing what's expected of him.

Just got back from mah lax game, we lost but we played a lot better. Also the field is sloppier than a diseased "5 dollar lady of the night"'s pole hole.
