so why are you on TIF?

I am a woman, so I can "multitask"

In reality I think the clinical term is procrastination. ;)

Are you one of those people?

Those that were home-schooled? Yeah...those ones are always weird...

That explains why you're a fairy.

>you can take the classes during the summer if you want to

>i do

>its kids from all over the city from different schools and stuff

>some of the kids are homeschooled

>they're all really awkward and smell bad

Why is it that all the homeschooled kids smell bad?

I never understood that.

they probably get used to their own smell at home and don't realize that kids in social situations dont like it when people smell bad

Nope. Went to a normal school my entire life, except now and last school year.

ok

Continuing a conversation from last page:

Tornadoes scare me. A lot. It's kinda pathetic. But I'm definitely not one of the people who stands out in the storm to watch. I'm just like, "[bleep] this, I'ma go play my Gameboy in the safety of my mancave."

Yeah, the one storm we though spawned a tornado and the one that did, both of those were bad. :3

My skin is finally getting soft
I'll scrub until the damn thing comes off

You know. I have been meaning to ask you about Tornadoes since you live in the center of Tornado ally.

Why are there over 12 Dutch/Flemish people online viewing the 2 threads I'm watching?

calm down it wasnt that funny

I've been in three big storms in my life that I can remember.

The first one didn't have a tornado. It hailed pretty bad in town, and had some bad wind. Totally missed my house, but my dad had to help one of his friends fix up his house.

The next also didn't have a tornado. It also hailed pretty bad, and had high winds. That one destroyed the north side of my house and the roof, and we had to reshingle and reside the house. That was fun.

The third did have a tornado. It didn't do much outside of town, just hailed and stuff. It was a good thing we hadn't fixed our siding yet. But it destroyed the outskirts of Kearney. Tore apart the fairgrounds, and took out the drive in theater. I was really sad about the theater. :/

Actually, the second and third storms may have been the same. I'm not sure. Yeah, most of the tornadoes miss Kearney, for whatever reason.

The worst storms we had didn't have tornadoes involved at all actually. We had the ice storm a couple years ago, where it basically rained, then froze on the ground. The grass was spiky. Most of the town had no power for a couple weeks, and my house didn't have power until a couple days before school restarted. That was fun, really. It left an imprint - everyone I know has a story about the ice storm if they lived in Kearney at the time.

Edit: Woops, wrong one. Let me upload the bigger one. One sec.

Yeah the Ice Storm of 1998 was much much worse than that.

Out of power for 3 days and ate nothing but pb&j sandwiches.

I love living in a place without tornadoes and bad storms.

I loooovvveee wicked storms, pretty much what Tyler described.

But tornadoes scare the crap out of me. I'd love to watch them in an open field where nobody lives.

Worse? My power was out for 2 weeks. Some farms didn't have power for 3 months. The only people who had electricity the first week were the people on the same grid as the hospital. >.>
