I did what you said; talked with her and told her that I need her and rely on her too. She's sticking by her decision though. Still claims the same reason.

i broke up with my ex by tricking him into pushing me away, and telling everyone else he broke up with me because i somehow wnded up paying for all our dates and what-not...

 

he never knew that was the reason... he thought it was because of his personality or that i was just a [bleep] who wanted to hurt him.

 

if you're still not over her, just ask her friends why she broke up with you.

I asked them and they said the same thing she did. Yeah, I think there's something else too, but she obviously doesn't want me to know and I can live with that, it's probably for the best.

 

Not to sound totally cliche, but it's not something I'm going to hate her for, and once the awkwardness dies down I'm sure we'll go back to being friends. I just gotta get rid of my feelings, or bury them for a while, at least.

 

Edit: I payed for her most of the time, except for when I was being dragged along to see a girly movie - then she'd pay for the tickets and I'd pay for the food. I think that's fair. :unsure:
