I would have killed that pony kid with my bare hands without batting an eye on page 5k. Even if it hadn't been me, so many regulars deserved that so much more. I wouldn't even really have been upset if pie had gotten it, as much as i dislike him.

I've been at my friend's house almost constantly because she had her wisdom teeth out. I babysat for a few hours today and yesterday because she was sleeping off and on, and I didn't want to just leave my friend there sitting alone in her miserable state the rest of the time. Plus, she had a rough night last night with the pain and woke up a lot so I helped her and switched her ice packs a couple times. I think I'm a caregiver type person.

Ever thought of being a nurse?

j0xPu5R.png

No, I just care for people I care about, otherwise it's gross. Plus, I strongly dislike blood, needles, and vomit. I sat with my friend while she vomited blood last night and cried, but any random stranger? Especially an elderly person? NOPE.

I understand.

Me, I used to be scared of blood, but I'm not really any longer. Watched someone receive a tracheotomy and it really isn't that bad. I guess it's something you have to get used to.

Vomitting blood because of wisdom teeth? wut.

Pain can sometimes cause you to vomit, if it's bad enough. But if it's blood, then that's probably something different... Usually caused by hemorrhaging through your digestive tract or some sort of hemorrhaging in the lungs.

Personally I don't think it's either. Probably just reopened the wound by touching it.

Other people's blood scares me a little, but I seey own and I'm like [bleep] yeah, because I never bleed.

And by scare, I mean I worry for their safety.

If your mouth is still bleeding hours after the surgery you're either a hemophiliac or something isn't right.

Well, some blood happens after the surgery because the clot could become dislodged. Can be dislodged by touching the area of removal or by brushing your teeth.

If it bleeds for a while, you can just bite down on a tea bag for 30 minutes. The acid in it will help seal the wound.

Or you swallowed quite a bit of it while still bleeding and your stomach just got around to rejecting it.

I'm pretty sure it'd reject it a lot sooner, not to mention the acid would have eaten away at it after several hours so it might not even be recognizable as blood.

The stitches must have reopened. Her stitches reopened a couple hours prior to that but stopped bleeding quickly, and she probably vomited because of the pain meds being hard on her stomach since she hadn't eaten much.

Fluffy didn't say it was a long time after the surgery. So my theory stands.

I'm guessing she has those stitches in her mouth? Never had stitches in my mouth, so that must suck. Not being able to talk too much with fear of reopening them.

j0xPu5R.png

It was the same day, but it was about 10 pm and she got home from the surgery at 8:30 am. The vomit wasn't pure blood though, it was mixed with food and fluid she had consumed throughout the day.

Fluffy stated this happened during the night.
