  • The rules are simple!   If when you post on this thread, and the thread dies for one week; (and/or 24 hours, I'm not sure if it CAN be inactive for more than a few days with Dax spamming the hell out

Is it wrong to say that I don't want Pepsi right now?

The once was a mexican called pepsi,

Or maybe it's just he had Hep C,

He was a pretty cool bro,

Bros generally are you know,

He hailed from the land of 'taters,

He was known to hate many-a-hater,

He likes a girl named Lacey,

His thoughts about her are kind of racy,

And also his dad likes to [rooster].

I'm going to milk Goon's teats

Okay, nothing.

BUT.

I've found that "last one to post wins" is a rather common forum game, even though we are the biggest thread I've found. The closest one is http://www.cspacezone.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=38612&st=53355 with roughly 3600 pages.

A search for a link to the first page of this thread gave no results, so if it's someone linking to here, it's done to a specific page.

Now, I find the thread I linked interesting. It's like a bizarro version of this thread.

  •
  • From what I gathered it seems that MLP is the norm there.
  • At least one of them is against MLP fans posting MLP [cabbage].
  • Most regulars are either admins or moderators.
  • Their biggest posters both have 10,409 posts in the thread.
  • The thread is still active and gets a fair ammount of replies every day.
  • The forum code is similar to ours, with a different skin.
  • Their thread is older (2002) and moves slower.
  • Many of the regulars seem to play or have played Runecape

I find this issue to be too big to ignore.

Should we do something about it?

Should we lurk their thread and see how they react to guests?

I feel as if I have discovered a whole new universe.

Another idea: Use our advanced technology in double/multi posts to colonize their thread.

For the time being, I'll refrain to just observing the subjects.

Observe them for about a week, then begin colonization. Start with Halo, then Who, then we can all slowly encroach on their territory. Then Wits can show up and all hell will break loose.

Think about it as an h-bomb at our dispossal. It's a forum code that completely breaks the structure of the page in which you post it. We used it, admins found out and fixed it. But if in this bizarro world they haven't found it yet, there's a chance you might see it working.

Their entire forum has 466,601 posts! Hahahaha

We should put them out of their missery.

Oh. [cabbage].

My hypothesis: Their forum is dead. They went through a nuclear war and are now living in a post-apocalyptic world. All survivors were granted mod/admin powers, and are taking refuge in the last to post thread. The rest of the forum has been mostly abandoned, with the exception of some lone wanderers.

Maybe we'd really put the nail in the coffin if we decided to break their [cabbage].

I wonder if the same thing would happen if Tip.it lost popularity. I would probably keep posing as long as there was anybody else.
