Here's what worked for me:

I had one dream that an alarm was going off for like half an hour in someone else's room and I could hear it and I kept checking the smoke detector to make sure it wasn't going off. I think it was a dream at least, because I remember having my ipod on my bed, which I did not last night.

 

Then, I had another dream where I was in some video game where the world was basically ending because we were being nuked and huge dramatic missiles were moving slowly like ships in fleets. It started out where I was with whoever I was playing with (I think it was wits for some reason) in a trailer house with a bunch of other innocent people, and we all thought we were dead because these huge missiles were slowly moving past us and we figured they'd blow any second. However, they passed us and I was like guys, let's get out of this trailer and go find safety, blahblah but for some reason we ended up following the missiles. I was in some little helicopter-y thing (like, it was basically a hot air balloon basket with helicopter propeller things) following them. At some point we got to a town and got our group into the mall. We got kinda lost in parts of the mall, but eventually ran out. Then, me and my partner went out to save people by knocking on doors and motioning towards the mall so they'd go there and be safe. Some people had dogs, and some people were just total mean creeps. I helicopter'ed for a while more too with a megaphone just telling everyone to go. When I was on the ground again moving towards the mall again (some sense told me the missiles were coming back), I knocked on this one house. This guy was a dog trainer, but he was kind of creepy and evil. He had chains in the garage. Some other guy came in and waited with me since I'm kind of vulnerable and I was in this strange guy's garage, and the dog trainer guy opened the door. He was old, long-ish gray hair, and he was wearing a santa jacket and tighty whiteys and had a sick grin on his face. His disgusting wife came to the door too in an open robe, not pretty. He wouldn't come with us. I was running back to the mall because the nuclear clouds were coming and then I lost. I chatted wits "goordbrye" because I was dying you know and had issues typing, and then I was floating because I was dead. Floated back to my RL house though, saw all the neighbors' cars, went into my house, mom cooked and we discussed how I had break for the next week and was going to be at home the whole time. It was so weird.

The alarm was an impending alarming situation, which would apply to my next dream, odd.

 

Well, dream dictionary says I've been feeling helpless and stuff because of the missiles and nuclear and stuff and I feel controlled because it was a video game. But, I was a hero, so that showed my inner strengths and weaknesses. Odd, I've been feeling good this half of the week.
