Gotta wake up tomorrow at 7:55 instead of 8:45. Hopefully schedule works out though and it'll be worth it... otherwise, at least I'll have showered immediately before class.

This week, I've had 2 classes a day each day, and I'll have one Friday (as usual). Feels slackish

>In class filled with freshmen

>professor asks "has anyone heard of reddit?"

>Laughter and clapping

>does a presentation on rage comics

>Same hashed unfunny comics with 'le' everywhere

>Laughter at the various ones that are presented

Why are people like this?

I don't care about that. It pisses me off when the teacher talks about something that's not related to what they're supposed to be teaching. My one business teacher senior year constantly talked about his ex-wife and how he proposed and baww. I took the class because I wanted to learn about business. The fact that the other students approve of it makes it even worse.

Or be a smart teacher and use that in a lesson.

That's what my Bio teacher does with stories.

The once was a mexican called pepsi,

Or maybe it's just he had Hep C,

He was a pretty cool bro,

Bros generally are you know,

He hailed from the land of 'taters,

He was known to hate many-a-hater,

He likes a girl named Lacey,

His thoughts about her are kind of racy,

And also his dad likes to [rooster].

Did you tell the teacher to focus on what they were teaching or report them to the principal?

He was a "popular" teacher and could pretty much do whatever he wanted. The other students seemed to like it, so I didn't say anything. Being shy sucks.

Most of my teachers who tell stories have either tied them into something or had balance. Some of my most entertaining teachers who told the most stories from their life were also my best teachers, content-wise. The teachers who helped me grasp the content to get college credits in high school.

Now, my least favorite teacher of all time had to be this guy I had for second semester freshman world history. He didn't teach. He didn't expect much of us. Half the class was getting extra help, which was spoonfeeding, while the rest of us just sat there. I didn't touch a textbook during that class. It was really disappointing, especially since I had the most difficult teacher first semester (huge flaw in scheduling system, do not switch students to different teachers for the same subjects in the middle of the year, just stupid). I really enjoyed the class first semester (that teacher also taught my AP psych class). He's super sarcastic and entertaining, but he has high expectations and assigns a lot of work. I hated second semester history.

Odd... I saw a girl from my spanish class posted in the class page or whatever and clicked her profile. Couple hours later, she friend requests me. I feel like I shouldn't look at her profile too much, like she'll know every click I make

I have a teacher now, for art history. His name is Mr. Lorini, but I call him Mr. ADD. He goes off on tangents all the time. Literally its every few minutes. He'll be talking about something, then he'll say "oh by the way class..." and start talking about something else. And it wasn't like he talked about somoething interesting, or not related to the lecture.. he would just skip to a different part of the lecture

My Spanish professor goes off on tangents, but he always gets back to what he's doing and the tangents are relevant and informative usually. He's from Spain, so we get cultural stories a lot. He's started teaching us idioms to get us to sound more like native speakers and he'll pause at any time if someone has a question about a word or anything.
