Didn't use a translator. I just picked it as "how are you" etc...It's been 7 years since my last German course.

I was at my friends house on Friday, and while I was waiting I talked to his family members.

Felt so proud being able to understand what they said in Spanish, didn't talk much in Spanish but mostly English.
