I feel like a bit of a hypocrite, but it just seems weird to me. Mostly because almost all of the stuff is basically pornography without the nekkidness.

 

Apparently they have a word for that in Japan, but I'm not sure how to spell it.

Halo, there are some folks who find anime perfectly acceptable. There's a clique that I have some friends in who are sort of the 'fashionably weird' folks or something like that. Either by intention or coincidence. Y'know, the folks who love Invader Zim, have Magic the Gathering clubs, read manga in class, and are all improbably pretty regardless of stereotypes.

 

I usually avoid them, they're weird.

The only people who really had a problem with me reading manga in class were my teachers. Then I'd ace the quizzes/tests and they'd give me an evil look.

Yeah, most music is like that for me, with a few notable exceptions. Usually, though, a song like that quickly joins my list of "songs I used to like, but now that I actually downloaded it, I don't." So I try to avoid them.
