There's a clique that I have some friends in who are sort of the 'fashionably weird' folks or something like that. Either by intention or coincidence. Y'know, the folks who love Invader Zim, have Magic the Gathering clubs, read manga in class, and are all improbably pretty regardless of stereotypes. I usually avoid them, they're weird.The only people who really had a problem with me reading manga in class were my teachers. Then I'd ace the quizzes/tests and they'd give me an evil look.
