So I got issued a hippie hammer since I'll be regularly on watch.

Technically not military jargon. In fact they'd probably be upset if they knew I called it that.

I google images'd it, and all I saw was pictures of hippies.

It's an expandable baton that one would use on aggressive non-compliant subjects.

Leiana is the second worst GM in the Tavern, in my experience. Mather is worse, Resistance I'm not familiar with, but he has a good grasp of how things work despite everyone hating on him.

 

By a long shot Archi is the best, followed by Ross. Just wait until you have the opportunity to play one of their games.

 

Sounds like it's worth the wait to get involved in one of those.

This isn't an absolute, of course, anything could happen. But Archi is pretty much responsible for the Tavern being the Tavern in the first place. He created Dungeoneering at the beginning, and Space at the end of the last era. He's been a major player in matters of the subforum, and our little community's uncontested leader. He's also supremely dedicated, at times putting on 6-hour game sessions every other day for extended periods of time.

 

A notable portion of our playerbase is gone now, though, so things might not go quite as well.

I miss Rusco. Those were good times.

Ah, yes, the Library days. Before my time, but I hear good things.

Mmmm, I also like libraries.

It makes me sad that Rusco died when it did. I was just getting my story really rolling. I was going to start a civil war.

Being a librarian has to be the easiest job ever. You get volunteers to put away books and sit around all day giving people mean looks.
