You could say to yourself... "when i drive today, I could get into a huge car accident and die" and you could think that your lack of fear means you don't fear death, but that lack of fear is meaningless, because despite what you say, to others and to yourself, you do NOT expect death to come, and you do NOT actually feel that it is near.
