blaah Posted February 6, 2012 Share Posted February 6, 2012 My dad told my cousin to go non-combat when he decided to join the army after completing two years of college. He became a safety expert. He helped with the planning for a bread factory they built in Iraq. He told my dad about it when he thanked him for telling him to go non-combat. My dad bet him that the factory would be stripped in months if not weeks. My cousin didn't want to believe it, but when he went back, sure enough, it was gone. He didn't end up being that disappointed. He's staying in the army now because he knows if he gets out he'll screw around working for his dad with no structure.
