June 5, 200917 yr Well I've gotten a terrible slayer-task-list now, and I'm down to 95 slayers points again (just not enough to ban it).. And I have a hell hound task now.. My question would be: -is it effective to cannon them, and if it is - is it recommended to drink range potions during it? First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me.

June 5, 200917 yr In taverly just after the poison spiders there are about 3 hellhound spawns that you can focus on. Just throw on some melee gear and use your cannon as an aid. If you go on a full world it shouldn't be insanely slow. Also you could just range from on of the safespots. Just try to stay on the eastern side and not the west because there are usually more people there.
June 5, 200917 yr I just use melee gear, rune defender and whip. A inventory of monks, bunyip and 3 super sets is normally enough for a task. There a decent task as long as your prepared. I've also seen a few 120+ people just piety in full prayer gear to speed up the task. June 5, 200917 yr If you really dont want to do them you could try canceling for 30 points, but I bet you already thought of that. Only downside is that you could get them again right after canceling.
June 5, 200917 yr I like hellhounds, I usually get a clue per 50 hellhounds, and clues are a nice break from them since thats all they drop besides charms.

June 6, 200917 yr cannon on the bottom tier in the taverly dungeon, very annoying to others, but good xp. and, there is a group of rocks you can safe spot from, so you can just run out once in a sec and refill your cannon. range pots are unnecesary, though, perhaps they will speed up the task if you are ranging it. i have cannoned there a little bit, and seen a lot of people cannon. always go to the lower tier if you are also ranging. good luck : notable drops: 1 ARMADYL HILT, 7 armadyl chestplates, 6 armadyl plateskirts, 4 armadyl helmets, 5 bandos tassets, 5 bandos hilts, 6 bandos boots (one solo from minion, another from ls ftl...), 2 sara swords, 2 steam staves, over 25 shardsBarrows: 1 dragon med, 1 verac helm, 1 verac skirt, 1 verac flail, 1 karil top, 1 dh plate, 1 ahrim's top
